Accept Apple Pay
Let iPhone and Apple Watch customers pay with a tap or a glance.
What is Apple Pay?
Apple Pay lets customers pay with the cards stored on their iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac — by holding the device near your contactless terminal in person, or with a one-tap button online. The card number is never shared; each payment uses a tokenized, device-specific code.
Why accept Apple Pay?
- Faster checkout — a tap or Face ID instead of dipping and signing
- Lower fraud and fewer chargebacks, because payments are tokenized and biometrically authenticated
- Expected by younger and higher-spend shoppers, especially in-store
- No card data touches your systems, which helps keep you out of PCI scope
How to accept Apple Pay with Xray Payment
If you take contactless (tap) payments, you almost certainly already accept Apple Pay — any NFC-capable terminal does. Online, we can add an Apple Pay button to your checkout through your gateway. Ask us and we'll confirm your terminal and switch it on.
